Careers at Murray Healthcare
Care Jobs in Leicester with Murray Healthcare
Real training, rounds that make sense and an office that answers the phone. Experience helps, but the right person matters more.
CQC registered provider · Leicester based team · Paid induction training · Rounds built around where you live

Why Work for Murray Healthcare
We are a small Leicester company, not a national franchise, and the office is on Vaughan Way in the city centre. If you ring us, somebody who knows your rota picks up.
We would rather be short staffed than send somebody who is not ready, which means proper induction, shadowing before you work alone and a senior carer at the end of the phone when you need one. It also means we do not hand new starters an impossible round on day one.
What You Can Expect From Us
Paid induction training
Full induction before you work unsupervised, and shadowing with an experienced carer until you are confident.
Rounds that make sense
We build rounds around where carers live, so you are not crossing the city between calls.
Someone to ring
A senior carer or coordinator you can reach when something is not right at a call.
Ongoing training
Refresher training and support towards qualifications as you progress.
Consistent clients
We keep carers with the same people wherever the rota allows. It is better for them and better for you.
A team, not a number
Small enough that the manager knows your name and what you are good at.
Roles We Recruit For
Care assistant
Support workers visiting clients in their own homes across Leicester.
Senior carer
Experienced carers who also support the team, carry out reviews and mentor new starters.
Live in carer
Carers who stay in a client's home for agreed periods, supporting them through the day.
Complex care support worker
Carers working on higher dependency packages, with task specific training provided.
Office and coordination
Care coordinators, rota and administrative roles based at our Leicester office.
Do I Need Experience?
For most roles, no. A lot of our best carers came from retail, hospitality, cleaning or looking after somebody in their own family.
What we cannot train is turning up on time, noticing when somebody is not right, and treating people with respect when nobody is watching. If you have those, we will teach you the rest.
