Murray Healthcare Services was set up in 2020 and has worked in Leicester ever since. Our office is at Kimberley House on Vaughan Way, a few minutes from the Clock Tower, and every care plan, rota and phone call runs through it.
That matters more than it sounds. When you ring, you get somebody who knows the roads, knows which carers are nearby and can tell you honestly whether we can cover a seven o'clock call in your area. There is no regional office, no national helpline and no waiting for somebody in another county to call you back.

We cover the city and the neighbourhoods around it. Families we support live in areas including Aylestone, Belgrave, Braunstone, Clarendon Park, Evington, Humberstone, Knighton, Oadby, Rushey Mead, Stoneygate, Thurmaston, West End and Wigston.

Coming Home From Hospital
A good number of our Leicester enquiries come after an admission to the Leicester Royal Infirmary or Glenfield Hospital, often at short notice while a discharge is being arranged.
Tell us the ward and the timescale when you call. We will be honest about what we can put in place and by when, rather than agreeing to a date and letting a discharge slip. Where a package needs to start quickly, we say so early enough for you to make other arrangements if you need to.
Working With Leicester City Council
Care can be funded privately, through a personal budget or direct payment from Leicester City Council, or through NHS funding where somebody is eligible. Eligibility is decided by the council or the NHS, not by us.
If a direct payment is already in place we can work with it, and we give clear written costs after the assessment so you can compare properly.
